SUNDAY 30th May: Our main Sunday morning service next week will be a team service. This will be at 11.00 in Crowmarsh Church. There will not be a 10.00 service in St Mary's Wallingford. The preacher at the team service will be the Revd Jeremy Goulston.
St. Mary's Church is in the centre of the town in the market square, and St. Leonard's Church is a few minutes walk away, by the Thames path.
St. Mary's has just recently been refurbished and it is great to be back in this warm, light new interior where we can do so many new things, such as different kinds of service, and events like the Valentine's Dinner and childrens' activities. The church is now open for coffee on Friday and Saturday morning and also open at lunch time when possible as part of the CTWA open churches scheme. Check the calendar for details.
It is good to have St. Mary's open again for all of the community because we are, 'the church in the marketplace'. You can see details of regular services as well as other events on the church calendar. The church building is also available for hire.
