Whilst we're looking at sites within the diocese, why not read Bishop Alan's blog on http://BishopAlan.blogspot.com (Alan Wilson is the Bishop of Buckingham). There is also much interesting material on the Church Times web site www.ChurchTimes.co.uk.
Nearer to home, we are members of Churches Together in the Wallingford Area www.ctwa.org.uk. Take a look at the web site to see the other churches in the area and find out about regular CTWA events.
We learned more about Christian Aid during the collection week - they are well worth supporting throughout the year. Take a look at www.christianaid.org.uk. Some of these charities can help us to show Christ's love to the world in very practical ways - by supporting their work financially.
As well as CA there's SA - the Salvation Army where Maff works. Here's your chance to read about them - www2.salvationarmy.org.uk. We all think we know about them - but do we really know what they do?
The web site is organised with sections titled Where? What? How? Why? Who? - take a look!

peace and justice, and should have sufficient resources to live their
daily lives. Our vision is shaped by our belief in the gospel that
proclaims good news to the poor".
We met the Church Urban Fund peopleat the New Wine festival in July, where we saw many other worth- while charities. One that made us blush was www.toilettwinning.org wherethey have a great scheme to twin your toilet with a new one in Burundi and link your loo with its very own twin in the African bush! You can pin point your twin on Google Earth, hang its picture in your loo and bring relief to a family of six
