Wallingford Parish Church has a thriving choir with over 50 members, including 19 juniors. They rehearse once a week on Friday evenings, and sing weekly services at St Mary's and St Leonard's Churches as well as at weddings, civic services, etc.

Wallingford Parish ChoirWallingford is one of a limited number of parishes that still maintain a tradition of sung weekly Evensong services. These services are normally held at 6.30pm on Sunday at St Leonard's church, and feature sung responses, canticles, an anthem, and hymns from Ancient and Modern, Revised. At a monthly choral evensong the choir also sings the canticles to a special setting. Singing is accompanied at both churches by our organists who benefit from excellent recently rebuilt traditional pipe organs.

The choir recently recorded The Hymns Album (available from Amazon here) of the nation's best loved hymns following Decca Records' 'Search to find Britain's Best Parish Choir'. The choir also performed at Classic FM Live in the Royal Albert Hall.
